This year's Christmas party was a little different than last year. We met at the church and went out for a progressive dinner. Thank you to the Mancini's for the great appetizers, the Phillips for the yummy lasagna dinner, and to the Hileman's for the delicious dessert. We had some type of game at each house and ended the evening with singing Christmas songs, a gift "exchange" and a challenge from God's Word. We had a great time!!!

Our first game of the evening...The name? I really don't know if Pastor Jim ever named it. Here's how it worked. Each team had one member pull a clue out of a bag. They then reached into the box to find their item. There was one secret Pastor Jim did not tell the teens...each item was coated with Vaseline and then hidden under chocolate pudding. Some of the items they were looking for were: toothbrush, soap, chap-stick, lotion, paper clip (this one took a LONG time to find), a bow and even a pair of underwear (yes, they were brand new).

Thank you Brad and Melody for providing extra towels, washing them and cleaning up our mess! And the food...it was awesome! We loved it!

After dinner we played our second game. Hmm...I don't think Pastor Jim named this one either. Groups of two paired up to see who could eat their end of the licorice first and win by getting the marshmallow in the middle. Tongue out
